The thing you have to remember, especially if you're working with a big employer, is that all these companies have to be seen as doing things correctly. They cannot afford to make a mistake. As a little person, you're allowed a little bit of leeway, but these big companies, if you choose to fight back, have to follow every single procedure in terms of giving you a disciplinary and acting appropriately. If this happens, the first thing you should do is check if you are a member of a trade union or any other group within your company that is there to assist you. If they offer you the option to bring someone from your union to the meeting, make sure you take advantage of that. You've paid for that person with your wages, and they should have the competence to act responsibly and legally on your behalf. Sit down with your union rep before the meeting and talk to them about any things that may have been said to you by your manager that you might feel are inappropriate.
