Now, I will add a table to our page. I will select three columns and four rows. In the first row, I will write "Username". In the second row, I will write "Password". Now, I will go to the standard tools and add text es for the username and password. Next, I will add validation for the required fields. I will set the error message for the username as "Please enter username" and for the password as "Please enter password". To differentiate between the text es, I will change their IDs. The first text will have an ID of "txtUsername" and the second text will have an ID of "txtPassword". Finally, I will link the validation control to the username text by selecting the control to validate as "txtUsername". That's it for now.
